History of the Nature Lodge
The Nature Team was founded in 1952 by Dr. Frank H. Wadsworth, a renowned forest biologist and conservation pioneer in Puerto Rico. Since its beginning it has been the heart of the camp's environmental education, connecting young scouts with the Island's tropical ecosystems.
The Nature Lodge team offers a variety of activities that foster respect for nature, scientific thinking and outdoor adventure, in perfect harmony with the ideals of Scouting.
