Headwaters of the Guajataca River
Launch from the canoe area and paddle up the Guajataca River to the waterfall at its source. Combines river canoeing, swimming in natural pools and cross-country hiking. Navigable distance depends on reservoir level.
Aliró Expedition
Advanced canoeing to the river source (conditions permitting), visit to the dam and the wildlife refuge. Option to camp on the riverbank under the stars.
Forestal Expedition
High-adventure hike through Quebradillas and Isabela with a visit to Cueva de los Vientos in the Forest Reserve. Ideal for merit badges: Backpacking, Hiking, Geocaching, Orienteering, Camping and LNT.
Bosqua Expedition
Canoe to Lago Guajataca dam + hike to the Bosque Guajataca Forest Reserve, crossing the famous Cueva de los Vientos. One of the most complete expeditions in the program.
Costa Expedition
The most spectacular expedition: traverse the northwest coast of Puerto Rico from Guajataca beach to Crash Boat in Aguadilla. 10+ beaches, Túnel de Guajataka, Pozos Brujo y Jacinto, Shacks/Kike Bravo, Faro Ramey, Aguadilla Lighthouse Ruins and the iconic Crash Boat Pier.
