A Youth Adventure Paradise
Camp Guajataka, known as “The Sanctuary of Friendship”, is the most complete camp in Puerto Rico. Nestled along the beautiful Lake Guajataca in San Sebastián, it has been the adventure and leadership destination for generations of young Puerto Ricans since 1938.
Open 365 days a year, the camp welcomes Scouting America and Girl Scout units as well as non-affiliated groups and families (ages 13 and up).

Spanning more than 300 acres, Camp Guajataka is one of the most complete camps in Puerto Rico. This youth paradise is open year-round and also welcomes groups and families not affiliated with the Scouting movement.
The waterfront features an impressive observation tower and a fleet of 35 canoes, plus paddle boards, kayaks, rowboats and sailboats. For the more adventurous, the camp offers diverse expeditions, including one that takes you to the headwaters of the Guajataca River.
The rappelling tower delivers adrenaline-pumping experiences, and C.O.P.E. events build teamwork and confidence among participants.
The camp offers diverse classes at its Nature Lodge and organizes hikes to observe birds, stars, and forest species — especially the majestic Mahogany Forest.
